Finding The Best Scooter Can Be A Really Fun Experience
It is really hard to tell someone what the best anything is since everyone is different and therefore will like or dislike something that someone else feels differently about. What I can do is tell you a little bit about scooters. Then you can go test drive some of them for yourself, after which you can decide which one is actually the best scooter for you. First of, lets look at motor scooters in general. They are right there in between a bicycle and a motorcycle. It is not as big as a motorcycle yet propels you completely so is unlike a bicycle in that way. There are many different types of motor scooters so finding the best scooter can take a little bit of time if you are new to the scooter world. First off scooters range in engine size from a low 50cc to over 300cc. Which means that you can go along at a slower 35mph pace or at a much faster freeway pace of 85+mph. So depending on what you want your scooter for will determine which one you want to buy. If you are just using it to go to and from work or school then a smaller 50cc engine should be fine. However if you plan on needed a lot of storage space or want to have someone ride along with you a larger on is called for. Deciding some of these things will help you decide what the best scooter for you will be. Another thing to keep in mind when choosing a scooter is that they are relatively new in the US right now. They have been around for awhile to be sure, but they are just now really booming. Mostly because of the crazy traffic jams and because of gas and parking prices. So in order to make sure that any parts you might need in the future will be easy to find you should think about the more common brands. Such as Piaggio and Vespa are popular and very sleek looking as well. This is another way for you to decide which scooter is for you, look at it. Is it a color you like? Does it have a sleek and cool body that you favor? These things can be just as important in choosing the best scooter for you. After all sight is one of our senses, and it is a very important one in many cases. The other thing that you should do is sit on the scooter you are looking at, make sure that it isn't too high or low for you. Scooters are a great way to get around and can be very fun experience, but make sure you are safe and always wear a helmet.
