Tri Scooter Features
Scooters are popular methods of transportation for those looking to cut down on gas expenses and possibly get more exercise.There are many different types of scooters with some newer models including motors and styles that resemble street bikes. Other types of scooters include portable folding scooters and even a tri scooter. Tri scooters run on three wheels as the name suggests and are operated completely different than any other type of scooter. Motor scooters operate similar to a motorcycle and the portable scooters are comparable to a skateboard. The tri scooter is a new take on the portable folding scooter. It does not fold, however the design is similar when unfolded. Tri scooters essentially take the single standing space of the portable folding scooter and expand it to two standing spaces- one for each foot- into a Y shaped or T shaped design. The tri scooter is operated by simply swinging the body back and forth from side to side. This is completely different from other scooters that normally require you to push off from the ground with one foot stabilized on the scooter, which can require a lot of work especially when dealing with slopes. Tri scooters become mobile through the swinging effect which is why they are also known as swing scooters. Although they are not necessarily made for the most effective method of scooter transportation, tri scooters can be some of the most fun scooters on the market today. They are undoubtedly one of the most enjoyable scooter rides because of the swinging maneuver that allows them to move. The tri scooter also offers some unique safety features. Because of the nature of the scooter design, it offers better stability because of two standing decks, one for each foot. This allows much greater stability compared to the portable folding scooter. Many times with the portable folding scooter the feet get cramped up in the standing space and can sometimes even lead to accidents because of this. With the tri scooter, this is never an issue and is the safer option which would be best option for those concerned about possibly having children operate a scooter, or even just anyone concerned about the safety aspects of riding of scooter.
